On November 23, 1958, Anthony Dwayne Kanida (affectionately known as "Tony") was born to Neller Jean Veal and Doris Milton Guyton. His adoptive parents were Martha Moore Kanida and Oscar T. Kanida.
He attended school in Giddings, Texas and enlisted later inlisted in the United States Army. He later began his career as a long-haul truck driver, making traveling a fun part of his life. He was known for his soothing musical voice, and later adopted fishing as one of his hobbies.
On June 21, 2009, Anthony united in marriage with Rondella Pryor. Together they shared a life of love and adventure.
On August 26, 2022, Anthony departed this earthly walk of life. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father; his brother, Darrell Guyton; grandchildren, JaMarcus Lensey, JaQue Reed, and Leah Allen; step-daughter, Justice Martinez; and granddaughter, Azarehy Martinez.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Rondella Kanida; his children, Christal and Chris Ferguson(twins), Antoinette Kanida and LaToya Kanida; two step-children, Kadijah Cooper and Trevonte Howard; his mother, Neller Jean Veal Johnson; step-mother, Addie Guyton; grandchildren, DeMarkus Reed, Joziah Allen, Joseph Dancy, Jr., Brian Atkins, Jr., and Jalen Ferguson; two step-grandchildren, Damion Colvin and Jazareah Howard; siblings, Pastor Dwaine Guyton (Cynthia), Doris Guyton, Dwight Guyton, Cheryl Patridge, Deborah Sanders, and Donna Johnson; along with great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
