Billie June "Honay" Gaines

Billie June Gaines was born June 8, 1932 in Lee County, Texas to Mack Gaines and Blanche Davis.  She confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and was baptized.  Her family resided in Giddings, Texas and she attended the local public schools in the area.  She later married Will H. Moore of Doak Springs and this union was blessed with two children.

On Sunday, April 2, 2023, "Honay" departed this earthly walk of life.  She was preceded in death by:  her father, Mack Gaines; her mother, Blanche Davis; her brothers, Wilton Gaines, Clyde Gaines and Curtis Joe Dean, Sr.; her sisters, Maxine Mayfield and Erma Carothers.  She leaves to cherish her memories:  her two children, Dennis Moore and Ramona Gail Moore of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren; great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Mattie Jane Dean of Fort Worth, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
