Growing up in Texas, Jeanette attended Bethel Union Baptist Church, where she accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of eight years old, under the pastorage of Rev. Dr. J.B. Kemp.
After finishing school, she welcomed one of God’s greatest gifts into this world - her son Jerald Lamont Dibbles. She took great pride in raising him to become an outstanding young man and citizen who positively impacted the lives of so many during his time here on Earth.... to know him was to love him.
Jeanette was employed by Mobil Oil Corporation, Dallas, Texas as a retail analyst. She continued her Christian journey at the Friendship West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. After twenty-two years of service, Jeanette retired in 1998.
It was while Jeanette was employed at Mobil that she met her soulmate, Leslie Anderson. They first met over the phone during a Mobil conference. They quickly became friends during their phone conversations. On a Tuesday night, in September of 1994, they finally bumped into each other at a Mobil convention in Las Vegas. The couple was soon married on February 22, 1997, in Dallas, Texas.
Leslie relocated to the metropolitan Atlanta area in 1997; and Jeanette joined him in 1998. The couple began sharing their talents immediately after joining the church. Jeanette served on the Ushers Ministry, Sunday School Children’s Ministry, Financial Services Ministry and the Parking Ministry. In 2002, the Fairfield Baptist Church ordained Leslie and Jeanette as Deacon and Deaconess. Deaconess Anderson served as a Secretary and Trinitarian of the Deaconess Ministry. She also served as a Trinitarian of Usher Board Number 2. Deaconess Anderson nurtured and taught youth ages 3 – 5 in Sunday School. She was stern on making sure that the children had a firm foundation in Christ Jesus and made sure her grandson always learned scriptures.
