Douglas Knox Obituary

Douglas Ray Knox was born on September 8, 1960 in Lee County, Texas to the late Albert Manuel Knox and Ruby Lee (Jarmon) Turner. He was the fourth child born of six children.Douglas accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at Rising Star Baptist Church, under leadership of the late Pastor Walter Brown. Douglas grew up in Dime Box, Texas where he attended Dime Box Public Schools.

Luke 24:14-15

(14) And they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. (15) While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them.

Douglas was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who will be missed by all that knew him and loved him. He was a true inspiration to all that had the privilege to come in contact with him. He always had a big smile on his face and was full jokes to tell. There was nothing Douglas liked better than an interesting conversation full of laughter.
