Jeffery Ezzard Charles Washington was born August 24, 1957 in Taylor, Texas, to Mary Ann (Wilson) Washington and Willis Travis(WT) Washington. He was the second child born of six children: Jean, Jeffery, Jewel, Jerryon, Jacqueline and Judy.   Jeffery also had three other siblings Patrisse Nelson, Kimberly Fitzgerald and Tiffany Fitzgerald who presently resides in Houston, Texas.

Jeffery grew up in the Kashmere Gardens Community of Houston, Texas.  He attended Ross Lee Easter Elementary Grade School and graduated from Kashmere High School, where he was on the School Year Book Team as a photographer his Junior and Senior year. Jeffery was on the track team for Kashmere High from 1975 -1977.

Jeffery was employed at Brown and Root Construction Company in Houston, Texas for 15 years,  Kinder Morgan Inc. Oil Refiner in Pasadena, Texas for over 12 years and later in life went into the Trucking Industry.  He worked for multiple companies and in 2021 his last employment was with TRI-Coast Carriers in Houston, Texas.

Jeffery was a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Jeffery was an inspiration to all who knew him, He always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips.

Numbers 6:24-25

The Lord made His face shine on you, And be gracious to you; vs. 25 the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.

Jeffery was always there to brighten the lives of others.

Matthews 5:8

In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your father in heaven.

There was nothing Jeffery like better than an interesting conversation.

Luke 24:14-15

And they were talking with each other about all things that had happen. While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them.

 

 

Let your life reflect the Lord our God

As individually we become united with Christ, we become like minded with others, striving for a common goal of glorifying God in all we do. Let the Spirit work in and through you to minister God’s presence to those around you.

 

Jeffery was called from his earthly labor to his heavenly rest and was reward on October 16, 2021. 

Those awaiting his arrival is his Father: Willis Travis Washington (WT), Sister: Wanda Jean Jackson, Brother: Jerryon Travis  Washington and other family members.

Those left to treasure his memory Mother:  Mary Ann Wilson, Sisters: Nita Jewel Washington, Jacqueline Gail Washington, Judy Carrol Ann Washington, Patrisse Nelson, Kimberly Fitzgerald and Tiffany Fitzgerald; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and relatives and friends.
