Survived by:  four daughters, Joyce Jones of Giddings, Texas, Patricia Garcia of Burton, Texas, Cheryl Jones of Giddings, Texas and Lisa Easter(Michael) of Temple, Texas; one son, Thomas Jones(Crystal) of Killeen, Texas; two brothers, James Shields(Mary) of Memphis, Tennessee and Clarence Shields of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren, Bryan Douglas, Teresa Page(Terry), LaDawn Spiller, Dominique Spiller, Desiree Lois Garcia(Michael) and Deitrick Garcia(Dorothy); six great-grandchildren, Tyra Joiner, Jaylon Joiner, Jaliel Gates, Colton Coleman, Jr., Journey "Flossie" Gates and Della Garcia; one great-great grandson, Marcus Newman III; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
