Johnnie Moore

Johnnie Moore was born August 15, 1934 in Giddings, Texas to the late Lee Moore and Mary Lee (Johnson) Moore.  He received his formal education in the Doak Springs Public Schools.  He was employed with Paisan Construction Company for many years.  He married Ms. Ethel Moore and one daughter was born to this union.  He had a love for fishing and boat restoration.

He departed this life on February 14, 2025.  He was preceded in death by: his parents and all but one of his siblings.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one brother, Ruth Moore of Giddings, Texas; two children, Gladys Milligan(Lewis) and Shalanda Moore both of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Evette Moore, Cheryl Moore Jacobs(Lewis) and Christopher Moore(Chasiti) all of Houston, Texas; five great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
