Jordy Robert Wayne Garcia Herzog

Jordy Robert Wayne Garcia Herzog was born on March 19, 1984 in Brenham, Texas, to Cynthia J. Garcia and Robert Wayne Herzog.  Jordy began his early years of education at Dime Box Independent School District.  He graduated in the class of 2002 from Scarborough High School in Houston, Texas and went on to study Criminal Justice at Prairie View A&M University.

Jordy loved sports, and in his younger days played basketball from little dribblers on through high school.  As an adult, he continued on in his career working at Herzog Foundation Drilling Co. of Pflugerville, Texas.  His creativity led him to also start his own business, known as "...KUSTOM T-SHIRTS PRINTIN...".

Jordy confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.  He then united with Rising Star Baptist Church in Dime Box, Texas.  His hope, faith and trust in God remained very strong throughout his life.  He was always full of life and loved to joke and bring humor to all who knew him.  He never complained and always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face.

On Sunday, July 18, 2021, Jordy left this earthly life.  He was preceded in death by:  his maternal grandparents, Rayschell and Margie (Smizer) Garcia; paternal grandmother, Nell Herzog; uncles, Kevin Garcia, Jerry Meyer, Larry Herzog and Jimmy Bradshaw; and his brother, Robert Wayne Herzog II.

Left to cherish his loving memories are:  his mother, Cynthia J. Garcia of Brenham, Texas; his father, Robert Wayne Herzog, Sr.(Dana) of Elgin, Texas; his loving companion, Karyn Hoskins of Round Rock, Texas; step-father, Donald Anderson of Austin, Texas; three sisters, Mya Lawrence(Jamarcus) of Cypress, Texas, Chelsea Bouray and Haley Bohm(Kyle) of Austin, Texas; a God-brother, Charles Johnson of Houston, Texas; a God-daughter, Brooklyn Johnson of Houston, Texas; one niece, Faith Starks; four nephews, Bradley Starks, Charlie Bohm, Daniel Bohm and Adrian Bouray; aunts, Alesice Garcia, Patricia Meyer and Prophetess Clarice Garcia; uncles, Malcom Garcia, Terry Herzog and Jerry Herzog; special cousins, Keenan Henry, Mar'E Henry and Bryce Garcia; and a host other relatives and friends.
