Karen Eve (Matejcek) Matney

Karen Eve (Matejcek) Matney was born May 29, 1954 in Houston, Texas.  Her parents, Max and Aliene (Brimer) Matejcek both preceded her in death.
Growing up in Houston, Texas, Karen graduated from Spring Branch High School in 1972.

In 2001, she and her family moved to Lexington, Texas where she resided until her passing. She was loved by many and had an enormous amount of friends. 

Karen departed this earthly life on August 8, 2021 at her home in Lexington, Texas. She will truly be missed and her life will be remembered in a remarkable way.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 36 years, Thomas Matney; one brother, John Matejcek; four children, Fred Fenzlein(Rebecca), Alyssa Lang(Anthony), Thomas Matney(Sandra) and Raquel Cedillo(Bobby); 13 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
