Killroy Fisher

Killroy Fisher was born on March 3, 1953 to Emmitt Fisher, Sr. and Laura (Burns) Fisher in Dime Box, Texas.  He found Christ at an early age.  He obeyed the Gospel and was baptized at South Oak Church of Christ in Dime Box, Texas.  He attended Somerville Public School until 1972. 

Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country for 21 years.  He received an honorable discharge on July 31, 1993.  He furthered his career by working at the Giddings State Home & School/Texas Youth Commission in Giddings, Texas, where he also later retired.

He is preceded in death by:  his parents; brothers, Perry Fisher, Lee Richard Fisher, James Fisher, Harvey Fisher and Emmitt Fisher, Jr.; sisters, Laura Ann Clark and Marie Mathis; and his grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memories:  sons, Brian Fisher of Bastrop, Texas, Kenny Fisher of West Berlin, Germany and Kendrick Fisher of Brenham, Texas; brothers, Allen Fisher and Joel Fisher(Gina) both of Somerville, Texas and Jimmie Fisher(LaVonda) of Corrigan, Texas; sister, Emily Fisher of Bryan, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and friends.
