Wendell Leonard Durroh

Wendell Leonard Durroh entered into eternal rest on Wednesday September 18, 2024 at the age of 59.  He was born June 11, 1965 to Odessa Brady Durroh and Wendell F. Durroh.  From a young age, Wendell embraced his faith, being   baptized and attending Trinity United Church of Christ. Wendell’s educational journey  began at  St. James Catholic School in Chicago Illinois followed by his studies at Tennessee State University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army before relocating to Houston, Texas where he worked as a food service supervisor at the International Leadership of Texas, Orem Campus.

Wendell's memories will be cherished by his loving wife Karen D. Jones-Durroh, daughter Ara Monet Jackson, step-son son Nathaniel Jones, a brother Arnell (Patricia)Brady, sisters Karolyn Brady, Iler (George) Gilmer. His adored granddaughter Shantrice Jones. He is also survived by beloved companion Huey. Wendell was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Madalyn Johnson and stepdaughter Dominique Jones.
